Delta

Delta is a 3-legged stool with an ultra modern aesthetic that is inspired by the aerodynamic design of supersonic jets and, in particular, the Delta Wing form-factor. Its deceivingly simple design eliminates superfluous visual details to create a streamlined profile in keeping with jet aircrafts. The stool’s front-foot-forward stance combined with its tapering seat and the low poly surfaces all work in unison to promote this aeronautical theme whilst creating something that looks like it's travelling at speed whilst standing still.

Seemingly incongruous to its sleek lines and svelte frame Delta meets all relevant strength, stability and safety standards, making it suitable for both residential and commercial design schemes.

Brief:
To create a bar/counter stool (suitable for residential and commercial) that pushes the boundary of current design aesthetics.
